The following are a series of amendments and clarifications to the main text which didn't seem to fit into the flow of their context, and so were placed as footnotes here instead.

1: Ladybird Books

For those who you who don't know what Ladybird books looked like, then they basically consisted of text-picture type double pages, with sentences like 'Here is Peter', 'Here is Jane', 'Here are Peter and Jane' etc ad infinitum.

For those of you ( probably Americans ) who don't even know what a Ladybird looks like then all I can say to ye yanky-dog, imperialst-capatilist-pigs is that in the US I think they spell 'Ladybird' as 'Ladybeetle', or maybe 'Ladyfly' or sth. Also, just purely FYI - There's no such word as 'Valor', or 'Color' for that matter :)

2: Notepad Pedants.

Someone has just pointed out that I couldn't have made the graphics and sound with Notepad.
Bastard.

So, especially for the pedants, let me rephrase. "The visible text, and HTML markup elements of this site were created on Wednesday, April 1st, 1998, by myself and Notepad"
